Employment Information


We are always seeking quality caretakers and homemakers to join our organization. Individuals with a passion for providing care to the elderly or disabled are encouraged to contact us. We welcome individuals to join our family of caregivers and build a career of incredible purpose. It is our policy to select caregivers based on their understanding of the job requirements, ability to take direction, sincere concern for the client and general overall attitude and congeniality. Each applicant must be dependable and punctual.

We provide an initial 8 hour certification/orientation class before providing care. Each employee has access to our scheduling system and you are able to indicate your availability and we will make every attempt to match you with a client within your schedule. This scheduling is accessible through your computer, laptop or cell phone 24 hours a day.

A Better Choice LLC also utilizes an automated time capture program to eliminate weekly time sheets and returning them to the office. This system may be accessed by telephone from the client, by cell phone, or by your computer or laptop.

As a caretaker, you will also have the ability to send messages or notes to the client’s family or our office. This can be used to report incidents, client progress, changes in condition or to indicate a change in your schedule.

We provide both a Referral and Performance bonus system. If you know an individual who shares your same compassion for care, we would welcome the opportunity to make them part of our family of caregivers. Also, in the course of your daily living, if you should encounter an individual or family who would benefit from our services, please do not hesitate to refer them for a free assessment.

All staff are employees of a Better Choice LLC. We are responsible for all taxes, bonding, liability and workers compensation insurance. All employees must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test as well as an extensive background check and motor vehicle check. If you will be providing transportation for clients, it will be necessary to provide proof of motor vehicle insurance.
